About T. David
Background
I have always loved to act even as a child. With fairly simple roles, I would play with ideas and incorporate it into the person I was portraying. I liked becoming whatever and whoever I imagined. After appearing in a few plays, it was obvious to me that I was going to be an actor.
But my life has not been a straight line and there have been detours along the way. I joined the military and served four years as an enlisted soldier. I then attended Lewis University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science while also completing the ROTC program and accepting the commissioned rank of 2nd Lieutenant. I then reenlisted in the military, and this time around, served as an infantry officer for a period of four years after which I was honorably discharged.
From there, I furthered my education at the University of Illinois @ Chicago, where I received a Master's degree in Public Administration.
But acting was always in the back of my mind. I started to think about what it would take to make acting a reality for me. I wanted to see where it could take me, so I decided to get some real training under my belt. Starting in 2014, I have been taking acting classes to hone my acting ability and expand my knowledge base.
Experience & education
I have completed Acting Levels 1-4, Voice and Speech, Dialects, and Movement at Second City. I then switched over to the Vagabond School of the Arts and took On-Camera Levels 1 and 2 as well as various workshops.
Because I am committed to growth as an actor I will take on roles that will stretch and take me out of my comfort zone. Where this will lead me is an open question...but it is a question that I intend to answer. Onward and upward!

Divergent (2013)
